Coventry based Pailton Engineering successfully completes the upgrade of their in-house SyteLine system from to v8.03 to V10, assisted by JPO Solutions technical expertise.
Pailton Engineering is a global leader in the design and manufacture of steering systems for Commercial and Military vehicles. The company first implemented SyteLine in 2012, having previously used Infor’s Swan Manufacturing solution, with the solution supporting the full enterprise including finance, commercial and planning/production operations.
A number of personalisation’s had been introduced over time to meet specific functional requirements, however these hindered previous attempts to upgrade and standardise processes.
Working closely with JPO, Pailton completed trial migrations to v10, including those specific personalisation’s that needed to be retained, enabling the business to test and validate the latest functionality.
As Steve Matthews, ERP Systems Manager, explains “These test runs enabled us to have confidence in the final migration which JPO successfully completed over a weekend in November, enabling the business to recommence operations on Monday morning.”
Steve concludes “The expertise and support provided by JPO were fundamental in enabling the Pailton team to introduce this latest SyteLine solution, which in turn will extend our capabilities in supporting development and growth across the business.”
